Harbour Property Consultants
Harbour Property Consultants is a building surveying practice providing technical advice on commercial buildings primarily located in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
We work with a number of partners in order to provide the best possible advice, striving to achieve the optimal outcome.
A harbour in central England?
The name Harbour Property Consultants comes from my nine years sea fishing on the Waitemata Harbour, Auckland, New Zealand, where I caught many a snapper and kahawai. The bridge logo also represents the Auckland Harbour Bridge which runs over the Waitemata Harbour.
There should not be many other harbours in Hertfordshire, which also offer a safe haven when the seas are rough.
Tony Hodge

Tony has over 25 years’ building surveying experience and as Head of Building Surveying, provides surveying, dilapidations, maintenance planning, design and contract administration and technical advice on commercial and mixed-use buildings.
Prior to his setting up Harbour Property Consultants, Tony was the Head of Building Surveying at a national property consultancy and a Director at CBRE, a global commercial real estate services company.
Before this, Tony spent nine years in New Zealand, where he also ran his own building surveying company.
Tony has advised a wide range of clients from multinational blue-chip corporations to private individuals, delivering successful outcomes for numerous clients, working across several property types.
Most notable commissions include surveying a 350,000 sq ft office in London and on several £500,000 dilapidation claims.
